30-Day "Choose Your Own Adventure" Self-Care Challenge where each day you choose between nurturing your inner Gremlin (embracing chaos, fun, and breaking rules) and being your Higher Self (grounded, nurturing, and wise).
This balance will help you explore both sides of your self-care needs, from lighthearted fun to deeper reflection.
Day 20: Connect with Nature’s Energy
Gremlin Choice:
Be a Nature Creature: Go outside and pretend to be your “nature creature self.” It could be as simple as lying in the grass, climbing a tree, or enjoying a fun nature walk.
Higher Self Choice:
Grounding Nature Meditation: Find a quiet spot outside, sit calmly, and breathe deeply. Visualize roots connecting you to the earth, feeling supported and grounded.
Gratitude & Connection-Focused Self-Care
For the last part of November let’s weave in some gratitude and connection elements for those last 15 days to help create a richer sense of self and deeper bonds with others.
Day 20:
Gratitude Meditation
Spend five minutes in a quiet gratitude meditation, visualizing what brings you joy and stability. Let each visualization fill you with appreciation.
If you're new to meditation, try to have fun with this. Dance or play a bit. Listen to music instead of doing this quietly. Or maybe write about what brings you gratitude. Whatever way you do it, just take five minutes to think about something you're grateful for.
