How It Works


30-Day "Choose Your Own Adventure" Self-Care Challenge where each day you choose between nurturing your inner Gremlin (embracing chaos, fun, and breaking rules) and being your Higher Self (grounded, nurturing, and wise).


This balance will help you explore both sides of your self-care needs, from lighthearted fun to deeper reflection.



Day 7: Break the Rules of Routine


Gremlin Choice:

Throw the Plan Out Don’t follow your daily routine. Skip tasks, switch things around, and do something spontaneous. Who needs schedules when you can go with the flow?


Higher Self Choice:

Simplify and Structure Create a gentle routine that allows for structure while also being nurturing. Focus on things that center you, like journaling or a mindful activity that brings calm.

True self-care goes beyond surface-level activities and is more about consistently meeting your genuine needs, setting boundaries, and taking steps toward your well-being in a deep and meaningful way.

  • Building and nurturing connections with people who support, inspire, and uplift you is crucial. Self-care often means cultivating and spending time with people who make you feel safe and valued.


More ways to nourish relationships:

  • Practice Active Listening: Give your full attention in conversations, listening without interrupting. This helps others feel seen and understood, deepening your bond.

  • Express Appreciation: Regularly acknowledge and appreciate the qualities, actions, or presence of those you care about. Genuine gratitude builds trust and strengthens connections.

  • Communicate Openly: Share your feelings, needs, and boundaries in a respectful way, and encourage others to do the same. Open communication fosters understanding and keeps relationships healthy.

  • Engage in Meaningful Activities Together: Spend time with loved ones doing things you both enjoy or trying new experiences. Shared activities create lasting memories and deepen connections.

  • Be Present: Prioritize quality time without distractions like phones or work. Fully being there for each other shows that you value the relationship.

  • Offer Support Without Judgement: Support your friends and family through challenges with empathy and without unsolicited advice. Just being there can often be the most nurturing gesture.

  • Respect Boundaries: Recognize and honor each other’s personal space and needs. Healthy boundaries make relationships safe and sustainable.

  • Be Consistent and Reliable: Follow through on commitments and be someone they can depend on. Reliability fosters security and trust, which are essential for nourishing relationships.

  • Encourage Growth: Support each other’s personal and professional goals. Celebrate their achievements and motivate them through setbacks.

  • Celebrate Milestones and Small Wins: Acknowledge important achievements and life events, as well as small, everyday victories. Celebrating together fosters closeness and mutual support.
